ATASEM (Antalya Art and Vocational Training Courses)
What ATASEM offers:
Turkish language for foreigners (Türkçe A1–B1)
Computer courses (basics, office programs)
Culinary courses (including national cuisines)
Handicrafts, sewing, fashion design
Drawing, painting, ceramics
Music, dance, acting
First aid courses
Child and elderly care courses
Courses are held 2–3 times a week, either in the morning or evening. Duration ranges from 1 to 3 months.
You can choose a course based on your district — ATASEM centers are available in Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı, Kepez, and other areas.
How to enroll:
Go to the website: https://atsem.antalya.bel.tr
Register (you’ll need an email and your YKN
— Yabancı Kimlik Numarası / Foreign ID number)
Choose a course and submit an online application
Wait for confirmation and then visit the ATASEM center with the following documents:
Passport
Residence permit (ikamet)
Photo (sometimes required)
Notes:
Turkish language level is not required to register for creative or vocational courses.
In Turkish courses, it is considered that you are a foreigner — the teaching is adapted accordingly.
After completing the course, a certificate of participation (katılım belgesi) is issued.
