Kurban Bayram 2025: Public Holidays and Working Hours of Institutions

In 2025, Kurban Bayram will be celebrated in Türkiye from June 6 to June 9.




Holiday Dates:
June 5 (Thursday) – Arefe (pre-holiday day). Public institutions and banks are open until 13:00.
June 6 (Friday) – First day of Kurban Bayram
June 7 (Saturday) – Second day
June 8 (Sunday) – Third day
June 9 (Monday) – Fourth day

Thus, the official public holiday period will be from the afternoon of June 5 to the end of June 9.

What is open and what is closed:
Government offices, banks, and schools
Closed from the afternoon of June 5 through June 9. Will reopen on Tuesday, June 10.
Post Offices (PTT)
Closed from the afternoon of June 5 to June 9 inclusive.
Pharmacies
Only on-duty pharmacies (nöbetçi eczane) will operate.

Hospitals
Emergency services will remain available in both public and private hospitals.
