If the police find during an inspection that you do not live at your registered address, your residence permit may be cancelled.
Recently, one of our subscribers faced this situation:
“My two-year tourist residence permit was cancelled because I was not found at my registered address. At Göç, they took my kimlik, issued a document, and gave me 10 days to leave the country.”
What happens next cannot be known in advance. A possible entry ban or fine can only be determined at the airport passport control (Gümrük Kapısı).

Be careful. Make sure that your registered address matches your actual place of residence.
