By decision of the President of Turkey, published in the Official Gazette on September 9, 2025, the mandatory departure fee has been increased.
The fee, which was previously 710 Liras, has been raised to 1000 Liras.
This fee is obligatory for all Turkish citizens departing the country via:
-Airports
-Land border crossings
-Seaports
Therefore, starting from September 9, 2025, citizens must account for the new fee amount for any trip abroad.
