To apply for a short-term residence permit in Turkey, you will need to prepare the following documents:
Required Documents:
- Completed application form
• Copy of passport (the original must be presented at the interview)
• Two biometric photos (on a white background, no older than 6 months)
• Receipt of payment for the residence permit fee
• Receipt for the single-entry visa (for specific applicants)
• Medical insurance valid for the entire duration of the residence permit
• Proof of financial stability
• Proof of residence (one of the following documents):
-Copy of property ownership certificate
-Notarized rental agreement
-Proof of accommodation in a hotel/hostel
- Notarized commitment letter from the host party (if staying with third parties)
- National electronic address (UETS) – must be obtained from PTT (not required for individuals under 18).
Important! Once your application is submitted, you are legally allowed to stay in Turkey.
